To publish on PetsParadise, the breeder or seller undertakes to comply with this charter, complementary to the Terms of Use.
1. Animal welfare
- Raise and keep animals in healthy, spacious and socializing conditions, compliant with the AnimWO.
- Respect weaning and the legal minimum age for transfer.
- Ensure veterinary follow-up (vaccines, deworming, identification/microchipping) before transfer.
- Never transfer a sick animal without clearly informing the buyer.
2. Transparency
- Provide accurate information (age, origin, health status) and authentic documents (pedigree, health tests, veterinary certificate) when available.
- State the lineage and parents accurately; do not falsify documents.
- Use real and recent photos of the animal offered.
3. Legality
- Hold the cantonal authorizations required according to the volume and type of breeding.
- Comply with the Animal Welfare Ordinance (AnimWO) and the applicable regulations (protected species, import).
- Comply with the tax obligations related to the activity.
4. Commercial ethics
- No deceptive practices, no "puppy/kitten mill", and no resale of animals of dubious origin.
- Support the buyer and prioritize the animal's interest over profit.
Failure to comply with the charter may result in the removal of listings, the loss of badges, account suspension and, where applicable, a report to the authorities.
